We currently have a position open for a Communications & Training Specialist to join our Corporate Recruiting Operations team. This person in this role will become an expert on recruitment best practices as it relates to social media, training and other forms of communication. Responsibilities include finding and engaging with talent, both internally and externally, through our social networking sites and other communication channels; being the eyes, ears and voice for our global recruitment teams, our company and our brand; and building/delivering world class training programs, on a global basis. This position is based in Boston, MA.
Communications
  • Manage social networking sites, including content, posts, requests to join, etc. in a timely manner (Develop content, create conversation and increase engagement)
  • Use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, brand awareness, membership, traffic, engagement and energy around careers within the company
  • Promote social networking sites internally and externally, through various communication vehicles
  • Find new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar for content on social networks, across all businesses, globally
  • Develop and engage with community of prospective candidates
  • Strategize with global recruitment and HR teams to determine and define the needs and communication strategy to best reach target audience(s)
  • Educate global recruitment and HR teams on incorporating relevant content and social media techniques into overarching recruiting and hiring goals
  • Work closely Corporate Communications and Strategic Talent to align messaging and timelines
  • Monitor trends in social media tools and applications
  • Define and own reporting metrics related to social media
  • Serve as social media contact for the recruiting organization, globally
  • Develop and deliver other communications as need be (newsletters, content on intranet sites, communications around policy/process/systems, etc.)
Training
  • Research training topics, content, and delivery methods for the recruiting organization, globally
  • Develop a timeline, strategy and approach
  • Engage stakeholders and receive buy-in
  • Partner with internal and external teams to design and build training modules
  • Organize and facilitate training events, Webex presentations, in-person meetings, town hall meetings, etc.

Qualifications
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful communications, including message development, communications planning and tailoring communications for different audiences
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated/extensive social media/web 2.0 technologies experience, actively participating in a wide variety of activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. and how best to use them (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, blogs, wikis, etc.)
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization-think including basic keyword research
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Excellent project management and process skills, with experience coordinating multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence by utilizing a wide range of styles, tools and techniques
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Knowledge of image editing applications (e.g. Photoshop), HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Flash helpful
  • 2-5 years communications/marketing experience
