Responsibilities

Summary

This position provides administrative support to department to assist in completing tasks, projects and departmental initiatives as needed. The work involved in this position is typically regarded as confidential in nature.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handles a wide variety of confidential and time-sensitive situations involving the clerical and administrative functions of the office.
  • Performs data entry and maintenance of computer files.
  • Maintains a variety of manual files and other reports. Retrieves files and other reports as requested by staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software applications typically used by the department.
