SCOPE: Under general supervision of a Radiation Therapist, assists with care of patients undergoing radiation therapy. Prepares custom blocking devises, processes X-Rays and maintains QA requirements for film processing. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of three years of medical/healthcare experience required. Prior experience with radiation therapy principles and block fabrication preferred, but not required.

Involves frequent contact with staff, patients and physicians. Work may require travel by automobile to various sites of service.
