Overview

Locana, recently acquired by TRC, is looking for a GIS Sales Director to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts. The GIS Sales Director will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities, foster client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.This role will have a sales incentive bonus on top of the base salary. Travel is required up to 50%, otherwise it is fully remote.


Responsibilities

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand market presence.

* Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.

* Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients within target industries and geographic regions.

* Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

* Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.

* Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.

* Articulate the value proposition of our GIS solutions to prospective clients through presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.

* Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring mutual benefit.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales organization, optimizing processes and workflows for increased efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Geography, or related field.

* Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the GIS industry.

* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, achieve revenue targets, and drive business growth.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

* Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

* Ability to travel up to 50%

Salary Range

USD $139,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
