Job Description

We are looking for an exceptionalIT Infrastructure Architect with a focus on security products for on-prem and cloud solutionswho can:

  • Lead design, implementation, and management efforts of security information technologies including, but not limited to: MDR, Endpoint protection and account/data protection platforms (examples: CrowdStrike, Trellix, Cisco DUO, SentinalOne,Microsoft Purview, Dell DDPE, BitLocker and TPM)
  • Application management of the above mentioned security applications used on clients and servers in the global environment
  • Work with Security, Governance, Business Relationship Managers, Project Management Organizations to architect IT solutions to meet security and business requirements
  • Evaluate new technologies and trends and make recommendations on how they can be implemented to positively impact the company
  • Design solutions and lead staff in the implementation and operation of the designs through mentorship and guidance
  • Point of escalation and troubleshooting of findings
  • Provide a bridge between security, technical staff and IT operations
  • Increase efficiency within the IT department through streamlining and automating processes and workflows
  • Document all architected designs and develop operational SOPs for the smooth transition to support staff
  • IT vendor management is a critical aspect of this position. Vendors may be local, regional, or global. Participation in vendor governance activities is required.
  • Cost control activities including budgeting and the creation/approval of purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders is required
  • The position will be a champion for MKS cybersecurity efforts and will work closely with the cybersecurity team.
  • Working hours would be based in "US Eastern standard time", to allow collaboration with the global team.
  • Cultural awareness, as the company is working internationally with IT customers and vendors
  • Willing to internationally travel as needed

What you will bring to the team, along with your creativity is:

  • 10+ years designing and implementing I.T. solutions
  • Microsoft Purview is required
  • Product experience in CrowdStrike is preferred
  • Working knowledge of client, server, network, and cloud architectures
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Experience with large scale implementations and integrations of corporate IT systems

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Pay Range: $97,300 to $180,700 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS (or as applicable).
