Summary:

The Senior Key Account Manager will work to achieve sales and product mix goals by gaining distribution and merchandising support for King's Hawaiian Bakery and Irresistible Foods Groups Brands products in all types of retail trade channels.

Job Requirements:

  • Develops and executes business plans and sales strategies for large accounts
  • Develops and maintains strategic long-term, value crafting relationships with high volume customers to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives
  • Leads planning and implementation of trade promotions within approved limits
  • Develops relationships at all levels, Category Manager, Director and VP as well as Operations
  • Analyzes market potential, problems, and opportunities for attention and outlines action plans for their attainment
  • Forecasts sales on existing and new products and promotions on a monthly basis
  • Analyzes efficiency of Trade and Omni-Channel programs
  • Coordinates with Customer Service department and other staff to communicate important information
  • Coordinates with Marketing department on plans and issues
  • Handles Market Development funds so as not to exceed allocated funds, while achieving or exceeding sales goals

Skills/Experience:

  • Complete understanding of Nielsen/IRI Data and be able to mine the data for consumer and customer insights
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of related experience preferred
  • Willing to travel 50%-60%
